  best chinese food in wilmington!! chow mein and peppered chicken are amazing!! However, parking lot does suck!

  It's rare I give poor reviews but this one deserves it. Ordered via Postmates so I have no idea about customer service, cleanliness or ambience. I can say it's a "cheap" Chinese food place in a strip mall. I can also say I will never order or visit this place again. I ordered the half and half 2 item combo if you've ever ordered from a Chinese food place...shit even Panda Express then you know what that means.... this place did not. How? Idk. Anyway, like I said I ordered via Postmates and had to enter in the special instructions what items I wanted....teriyaki chicken and broccoli chicken. Also ordered a side of fried chicken wings and egg rolls. I immediately received a "update your order Special instructions cannot be completed" text from postmates so I deleted the 2 item combo & special instructions and ordered the Combination Fried Rice. My total was $9.... according to Postmates. I ended up paying $25....I'll explain later.
  
  When I got my food I was confused. I received a paper bag of fried chicken and another with egg rolls. I got 2 takeout boxes  one with Broccoli chicken and one with the combo fried rice and a small styrofoam container with Teriyaki Chicken. So obviously my order got all mixed up and instead of receiving a call to confirm I got a bunch of sides. No big deal...right....wrong! Back to the food.
  
  Packaging was not smart. At all. The egg rolls were soft and mushy. Gross. The fried chicken's steam was ripping a hole in its bag. The juice from the broccoli chicken was seeping out the bottom and the dry ass teriyaki chicken was...fine in its styrofoam container. ‍
  
  The fried chicken was good and the teriyaki chicken wasn't bad either but they failed to give me any sauce on it. The broccoli chicken was bland as was the soggy egg rolls. The fried rice combo was wack! Hard rice. Sweet pork. Shrimp was not fresh. Needless to say I was disappointed in my hangover Breakfast lunch dinner.
  
  So for the kicker. As I enter a $2 tip for my awesome Postmate deliverer I see I am being charged $30! $30! I immediately contact Postmates turns out this place posted different prices and decided to give me whatever order they wanted as you see above and charged me over 3x the stated prices. I was pissed! Postmates was barely apologetic and gave me $5 back...even after claiming it was their fault.
  
  Don't go here. Don't waste your time or money. Definitely don't order through Postmates. I should've been called as soon as it was realized the prices were 3x the stated prices. A dollar or two even $3 or $4......but from $9 to $30...NOT OKAY! Get it together Louie!

  This food is terrible! If you're thinking about going here just go to Panda Express because the food will taste better. I got noodles with broccoli beef and orange chicken. The broccoli was so bland, there was barely any sauce on it and what little meat that was there was tough and chewy. I've never had broccoli beef that tasted so bad. The orange chicken was off too, the texture was weird. I've never gotten bad orange chicken until I came here. The noodles weren't even good, they were too dry.
  
  Who knew hot lamp Chinese food can be done so wrong. I threw almost this whole plate away which I hate to do because I don't want to waste food.
  
  Not coming back!

  Bad experience with this place. Came here today to pick up an early dinner for my wife and I. Ordered  two different combo plates to bring home and was very disappointed. My wife's order was to include their tangerine chicken which she almost always orders. Today when she opened her container she had chicken that didn't have any of the sauce/glaze that gives the dish its name.  When I called the place after we saw this they said "today the first cook didn't make it but that the other cook was now there and would make it". To the person I talked to this seemed normal and perfectly acceptable. Next thing you know the Beef Broccoli won't include broccoli.

  Their food is good when you specifically order something. The buffet style food is good also but you have to catch it fresh out the kitchen. They try to continue to stir the food so it doesn't look as old as it really is. lol And I've seen them take chicken wings from the buffet line (there's two kinds) to the kitchen, reheat them, threw some sauce on it and brought it back out as the other kind of chicken wings. lol They even blocked the hole that looks into the kitchen while they did it. Like I said, their shifty but if the food is freshly made then you're good in the game. And YES, they are talking about us to themselves. lol Don't think for a moment that they aren't. lol At least they smile though. lol
